Self-nomination-based Research Excellence Award Guidelines – INNOST-NANO 2025

The Organizing Committee of INNOST-NANO 2025 International Conference is pleased to announce the Research Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding contributions to research and innovation. The awards will be presented on 12th November 2025 (Day 1 of the Conference).

1. Award Categories and Prize Amounts

• UG/PG/PhD/Post-doctoral Students – INR 11,000/-

• Young Faculty/Scientists (up to 40 years) – INR 21,000/-

• Senior Scientists (above 40 years) – INR 31,000/-

Only one award per category will be given.

2. Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be a registered participant of INNOST-NANO 2025.

2. The applicant must pay the nomination fee as per their category.

3. The applicant must submit a formal nomination along with required documents.

4. Minimum 20 valid nominations are required in a category; otherwise, no award will be conferred in that category.

5. In-person and online registered applicants are eligible after self-nomination. 

 

3. Evaluation Parameters

Awards will be evaluated strictly on merit, based on:

• Research Publications: (1st January 2023 to 31st August 2025)

  • Only SCI-indexed papers will be considered.

  • Only papers where the nominee is First Author or Corresponding Author will be counted (co-author contributions will not be considered).

  • Impact Factor of the journals will be taken into account.

• Research Grants: (1st January 2023 to 31st August 2025)

  • Grants received as PI from Government Agencies only in the last 3 years.

  • Evaluation will consider grant amount (in lakhs).

• Patents Granted: (1st January 2023 to 31st August 2025)

  • Patents granted (national/international as First or corresponding author only).

4. Nomination Fee

• Students (UG/PG/PhD/Post-doc): INR 500/-

• Young Faculty/Scientist (≤ 40 years, till 12th Nov. 2025): INR 1000/-

• Senior Faculty/Scientist (> 40 years till 12th Nov. 2025): INR 1500/-

5. Application & Screening Process

1. Nominations must be submitted through the official. 

2. Each application must include: (Upload all proofs in Single pdf file)

   • Aadhar card or passport copy (for age proof)

   • List of publications (with doi links).

   • Proof of research grants (sanction letter, amount in lakhs).

   • Proof of patents granted (patent granted letter). 

3. A Screening Committee comprising senior experts will evaluate nominations.

4. Final decision will be taken by the Conference Award Committee, and results will be announced during the first day of the Conference.

 

6. Terms and Conditions

• Awards will be given only on merit; the decision of the Award Committee will be final and binding.

• The process will remain fully transparent and unbiased.

• Any form of canvassing, lobbying, or undue influence will lead to disqualification, blacklisting from future events, and possible legal action.

• In case of a tie or very close competition, the Award Committee decision will be final.

• Minimum 10 valid nominations are required in a category; otherwise, no award will be conferred in that category.

 

7. Award Presentation

• Awards will be presented on 12th November 2025 (Day 1 of the Conference).

• The winner will receive:

  • Cash Prize (as per category)

  • Certificate of Excellence

  • Memento / Trophy
